Who I Am

I am a recent graduate of Brown University, where I studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and I am a current Fulbright Scholar, pursuing a Master's Degree in Global Studies/Political Economy at the London School of Economics.

For the past three years, my academic research has focused on the effects of artificial intelligence and digitalization on economic inequality. This is a topic I am passionate about, and I dedicated my senior thesis at Brown to producing a 200-page manuscript on the topic. I am now using my time as a Fulbright Scholar to transform that thesis into a publishable book. I have summarized some of my research in speaking appearances, including three TEDx talks.

Most recently, I worked as an intern in President Obama's personal post-presidency office— where I supported the 44th President's communications and speechwriting teams— and as a research intern for The Brookings Institution, the World Policy Institute, and the Center for International Policy.

I have also worked in publishing and as a journalist. I am the Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the Brown University Journal of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics as well as a former Senior Staff Writer for Brown Political Review. In total, I have published over 40 articles, essays, and interviews (see links on this very website), including interviews with Noam Chomsky, Yanis Varoufakis, Paul Krugman, Steven Pinker, and Peter Hitchens, among others.

Outside of research and writing, catch me drafting unsolicited lists of my favorite albums of the year, grimacing at the state of the New York Mets, and making the case that Samwise Gamgee was, in fact, the true hero in Lord of the Rings.
